A survivor who got out, stayed out and is determined to help others do the same.

Meet Ronel Golden: Advocate, Survivor, and Guide Creator

Ronel is a dedicated advocate, problem solver and abuse survivor.

Her own journey to freedom began when she was in her mid-thirties and her son was a tween. Today, they both recognize that the work required to get out and stay out of abuse was the hardest but best decision they ever made.

This experience, combined with extensive research, and years of counseling others fueled Ronel's passion for helping victims navigate the complex and often dangerous process of escaping domestic violence.

Growing up, Ronel led a nomadic existence. She lived in various European countries and South Africa before moving to the United States. Her diverse upbringing allowed her to adopt multiple cultures and languages, earning two law degrees along the way. Her career path was equally diverse, with roles as a contract specialist, investment banker, and entrepreneur.

After finally settling in Houston nearly 15 years ago, Ronel shifted her focus to communications and now runs a successful boutique communications advisory firm.

Throughout her life, Ronel has been deeply involved in philanthropic work and currently serves several organizations dedicated to supporting those in need.
